Hi there I am Meghan Ashley! I love God, life, my husband, family, our blue dog children, crafts, yummy food, country music, makeup, fab hair, and of course the color purple!

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas and relocated to Fort Worth, Texas in 2000! Yes, I daily tame my curls with this heat and humidity.

I currently work for Bank of America and love it!  In September 2012 I married the love of my life at a pecan orchard and our little family was born.   Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and full of handmade pinteresty touches everywhere!  I am a proud Irish Cuban....yes that is right...and take so much pride in my southern belle style!

Like any other Texas girl, I love awesome boots, cute cowboys, big hair, and yummy food. I also love to craft and learn new ways to make homemade meaningful gifts, redo furniture, decorate, and love love love to cook and bake!  Making gift baskets makes me happy!!!

A few years ago I dabbled into blogging for a short period of time. I got caught up I this thing called life and marriage and got away from blogging.  This truly was something that made me happy, so here I am with a fresh start.  I am doing this for me to have an outlet to talk about the things I love most, in addition to share my journey on extending my family and how I balance my life in general.

Oh my, did I mention I am now 30 years old? Let me just tell you that I dreaded turning 30 and I am not quite sure why. So subscribe and comment and let me tell you what this whole "thirty" thing is all about!
